Corn is Myanmar’s second biggest agricultural export, In 2020, Myanmar exported $425M in Corn, making it the 11th largest exporter of Corn in the world . The harvest period of maize(corn) in Myanmar is commencing from August/ September and in full swing during October/ November. Maize is generally used for animal feed and widely processed into various types of products such as cornmeal, grits, starch, flour, tortillas, snacks, and breakfast cereals.
